Giulianelli is harp professor at the Conservatory
of Feldkirch (A).
The Music Conservatory of Vorarlberg in Feldkirch prepares professional
musicians with pedagogic and concert diplomas since 1977. High school
is at a few footsteps nearby, which gives the students the best possibility
to concentrate on their studies. Choir and orchestra complete their preparation.
Since 2006 the Conservatory of Feldkirch has become partner of the Music
University of Vienna and Salsburg. This allows students to to get a bachelor
diploma, after having previously passed an admission examination.
Besides the one-to-one harp lesson, I also teach chamber music, didactic
and instrumental practice. In this latter course following subjects are
taken into matter:
- First sight and transportation
- Orchestra passages
- Free improvisation, improvisation on given models,
accompaniment with chord symbols,
- Basis for figured bass
- History of the harp, its construction, small reparations
- Cadences in all keys, seventh chords, deceptive cadence , neapolitan
sixth, suspension of the fourth, scale by tones, modi, enharmonies."
The harp course consists of a pedagogic course (Bachelor)
and a concert course (B.A.).” The pedagogy course (Bachelor)
lasts 8 semesters and ends with an examination, which allows to teach
in music schools, music high schools and conservatories.

The program must last at least 40 minutes and must include a piece with
sound expressions of our times. Besides the program for the exam a list
must be included with: - pieces and studies which have been worked during
the course - teaching literature for teaching in music schools
The concert diploma (B.A.) lasts 12 semesters, divided in three parts,
and ends with a two-parts artistic exam. Students have the possibility
to work deeply on their artistic qualities.
